2003-2005 Honda Accord H.I.D Kit Instructions
Steps for installing your HID Kit for your 2003-2005 Honda Accord. Please read directions fully before starting. Be prepared to fit your hands in really tight spaces. We do not Guarantee proper installation. We recommend professional installation. Install at your own risk.
Tools Needed: Screw drivers Wrenches Sockets Ratchet and extensions
1. Remove Battery support bracket. 2. Disconnect battery terminals.and remove battery. 3. Remove push pins for radiator cover and remove radiator cover. 4. Remove Halogen bulbs from both sides and install H.I.D bulbs on both sides. Be careful not to touch glass part of bulb. If you do, clean with rubbing alcohol. 5. Looking at wire harness, side that has the relay goes on the left side. Find the power connector for right ballast and feed through from engine compartment to the front of radiator. You will run these wires to the right ballast. 6. Install both ballast into brackets as seen in photo below. 7. Plug harness marked positive HL into factory plug on right side. Be sure positive side on factory harness matches the same side to the HID harness, use multi-metere if needed. Push the connectors together until they click, this is the number one reason why your HID lights will not work. 8. Connect HID bulb to ballast on both sides. Wires can only be connect one way. 9. Plug power into both ballast.
10. Remove ground screw on left side as seen in photo below. This is where you will mount the left ballast, relay, and ground. 11. Insert ground screw that was removed into relay, bracket then through ground. Mount as seen in photo below . 12. Remove screw from right side and mount right ballast and ground as seen in photo below. 13. Reinstall battery. Now its time for your final step of connecting wire marked Vbatt to the positive side of the battery. Then reconnect negitive side. 14. Congratulations!! Now its time to show off your new ride. *Be sure to run you new lights for at least ten minutes the first time you turn them on for proper break in.
